NOTICES

June will be a quiet month at Saint Luke’s. Many parishioners will be taking their vacations in the next three months. The Altar Guild will not meet in June.

Looking ahead: Father Gary will be taking his annual vacation in July, with Father Stevens conducting the Eucharist in his absence, as he has in the past.

With five Sundays in May, and with Easter falling relatively early this year, the choir was with us all the way through Trinity Sunday. During the summer months, we will have vocal music from time to time by volunteer soloists and small groups.

It has certainly been a great season for the St. Luke's Choir. We have expanded our repertory considerably and have spent a lot of time concentrating on music reading. We have also had some excellent guest musicians and have continued our outreach through Evensongs and special services.

The St. Luke's Choir has expanded its program of delivering flyers with the schedule of services for Christmas and Holy Week/Easter, bringing more people to our parish for these events. Most recently, we sent representatives to the massed choir for the consecration of the two suffragan bishops. As is always the case, we thank the congregation for its support.
